First thing we do – Kill the Gays


The headline was – I cannot think of the word that can describe my disbelief that one fundamental Christian of this country, an elected official, has but one concern. Death to all who are not like him, macho, straight and Christian. There is no two out of three here. From the Huffington Post,

Andy Gipson, Mississippi Lawmaker, Won’t Apologize For Citing Bible Passage Calling For Gays’ Death.

Gipson was citing passages known as the “Clobber Verses,” six to nine passages depending on who is counting, selections from the Torah and Christian bibles that he believes is God’s call that homosexuality, that Gays, Lesbians, Bisexuals and Transgendered are somehow sinners because they have chosen this life against the wishes of God.

It is unfortunate that he is not the only extremist Christian who takes these specific passages as truth.
